Meet our Guest Speaker: Janelle Bass
founder of Living Well Holistics
in Central Florida
For this UNBOUND, I’ll be joined by Janelle Bass, BCHHP, a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, Bible school graduate, wife, homeschooling mama, and founder of Living Well Holistics here in Central Florida.
Janelle brings more than 15 years of experience in ministry and health, helping women and families better understand their bodies and take practical, individualized steps toward greater wellness. What I especially appreciate about her approach is that she doesn't present caring for our bodies as a pursuit of perfection, but as an act of stewardship—one that keeps biblical truth, prayer, wisdom, and practical care together.
Does this sound like you ?
You love Jesus.
You believe in the power of prayer. You want to honor God with your life…But when it comes to your health and your body… you’re not quite sure what that looks like anymore.
Maybe you’ve been experiencing symptoms that keep returning, and you’ve gotten used to managing them instead of asking what might be happening underneath.
Maybe you’re tired—really tired—and somewhere along the way, constantly pushing through became normal.
Maybe you’ve bought the supplements, saved the wellness posts, changed your diet, tried the protocol… only to find yourself wondering what you actually need.
Maybe the amount of information available has left you more overwhelmed than empowered. Maybe you want to care for your body well, but you don’t want health to become another place of fear, striving, obsession, or legalism.
THERE IS ANOTHER WAY….
What if tending to your body wasn't about controlling it?
What if it wasn't about chasing perfect health, following someone else's protocol, or doing twenty more things?
What if it began with surrender?
Romans 12 invites us to present our bodies to God as a living sacrifice.
And perhaps sacrifice doesn't look the way we sometimes imagine.
Sacrifice isn't destruction.
It is surrender.
Surrendering our bodies to God doesn't mean neglecting them.
It means allowing Him into this area too.
Our nourishment.
Our rest.
Our rhythms.
Our symptoms.
Our decisions.
Our fears.
Our habits.
And learning to ask:
“Lord, how are You inviting me to steward what You have entrusted to me?”
You were never meant to figure all of this out alone.
There is so much information available to us about health and wellness, and more information does not always bring more clarity. Sometimes it leaves us overwhelmed, trying different things, managing symptoms, or wondering where to even begin.
Part of healthy stewardship is knowing when to seek wisdom and support. We can trust the Lord to lead us while also learning from people who are trained to help us understand what may be happening beneath the surface.
You don’t have to know everything. You need wisdom, discernment, and clarity about your next step. start with a monthly subscription. Either way, you’re making a commitment to show up for yourself—and that’s the best investment you can make.
FREEDOM IS AVAILABLE, FRIEND.
Freedom from believing you have to do everything perfectly.
Freedom from fear around food.
Freedom from chasing every new wellness trend.
Freedom from comparing your body and needs to someone else's.
Freedom from believing that prayer and practical care somehow compete with one another.
Freedom from treating every symptom as something to silence instead of something worth becoming curious about.
And freedom from carrying the pressure of figuring it all out on your own.
Healing is available. Wisdom is available. And sometimes the beginning of healing looks like slowing down long enough to listen—to God and to the body He created.
UNBOUND: Tending to the Temple is an invitation to approach wellness differently.
Not from fear.
Not from perfection.
Not from striving.
But from surrender, wisdom, nourishment, and stewardship.
Because you don't need another impossible standard to live up to.
You may simply need clarity for your next faithful step
We don’t tend to the temple because we worship the body. We tend to the temple because we worship the One who entrusted it to us.
